My FMC Method

I have a very simple Fridrich-based FMC method, which gives consistently low/sub 30s.

Basic explanation:
1) 2x2x2 block: Start by building a pair, attaching it to and edge to give 2x2x1 then attach to another edge and 2 centres to make a block. This should take at most 7 moves.

2) 2x2x3 block: Add another edge and pair to the current block, this should take about another 4 or 5 moves.

3) Triple X-cross: Do this either by finishing the cross then putting in the last pair, or inserting them both as a 2x2x1 block. This should take another 4 or 5 moves.

4) Last F2L pair and Orientation & Permutation of Edges & 1 Corner: This can be done using edge control and inserting the last pair in different ways, sometimes a different phase 2&3 are needed to make this possible in a good amount of moves, about 7 or 8

5) Orientation and Permutation of remaining 3 corners: Done with one of 18 algorithms I worked out, all based on the OLLs in which 2 corners need rotating, and inserted in the middle of the solve to get optimum cancellations. This should take 6-7 moves.

Weekly Competition 42

First ever real attempt at a FMC:

Scramble: B2 U L2 F2 U' B2 U2 R2 F2 U L2 D B' D F U2 L' R2 B' L R'

32 moves.
FMC: 2x2x3 block (3 corner cycle inserted) (18): F' L' (F' B2 D' B' U' B D B') L2 U B' R D' L2 F L'
Last cross-edge and 3rd pair (6): (Y2) U F' U' L F' L'
Final pair + OLL (8): F (U R U2 R' U2) F' U'
